My name is Joseph Garuccio.

I am an applied microeconomist primarily specializing in health economics with interests in labor and urban economics. My research focuses mainly on the impact policy and location have on healthcare and health-related outcomes.

My job market paper estimates the impact the Medicaid expansions of the Affordable Care Act had on the entry of post-residency physicians in expansion and non-expansion states. Links to my other working papers can be found here.
